The Role:
On behalf of our client we are recruiting for a Darwin based HRBP with the primary responsibility in providing generalist HR solutions and advice as well as coordinating key HR processes to the Darwin office.
In addition to reporting to the HR Director your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Provide performance management, improvement plans and disciplinary investigation support.
  • Develop employee engagement action plans.
  • Communicate HR policies to leaders and employees.
  • Work with ABU Industrial Relations Specialist in providing Darwin based support in relevance to employee relation matters.
  • Coordinating HR information and reports as well as community engagement initiatives.
  • Coordinating and identifying improvement of the below key HR processes:
    - End to end recruitment processes
    - New hire processes
    - Compensation and benefits processes
    - Performance management
    - Employee engagement and development
    - Exit processes
    - Performance and Succession Planning
    - Strategy development
    - Facilitation of inductions, workshops and training.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • HR Degree with at least 7 years of HR Generalist experience
  • Industrial Relations exposure
  • Experience working independently in an onsite HR role
  • Experience with an integrated HRM system (SAP is desirable)
  • Proven experience as a HR Business Partner within Oil and Gas, Resources industries with strong exposure to:
    - Attraction and Retention Programs
    - Compensation and Benefits
    - Employee Engagement Surveys and Strategies
    - Performance Management and Disciplinary Processes
    - Learning and Development
    - Health and Wellness Programs
