The Role:
We are seeking an experienced HSEQ Technical Assistant to join a global and leading oil and gas operator. In this role you will be responsible for providing support across the following areas - HSEQ data recording and analysis, HSEQ report writing, supporting key activities described within the Project's HSE and Q Management Plans.
* Provides general administrative support to a department, group of professionals, or individual.
* Compiles and analyzes basic information for inclusion in reports or presentation materials, prepares charts, graphs, or tables as necessary.
* Receives and responds to routine correspondence following established procedures not requiring management review.
* Requires the ability to exercise independent judgement and employ basic reasoning skills.
* Usually works on generalized routine assignments that do not require a broad knowledge of the corporate organization.
* Duties typically include typing reports, correspondence, copy, answering the phone, and scheduling.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Circa 5-7 years of offshore oil/gas project experience in a H&S technical administrative role.
* Tertiary Qualification in Business Administration, Work Health and Safety or equivalent.
* Provides more technical/functional support than administrative support.
* Strong prioritisation, time management and organisational skills.
* Effective communication skills and experience of cross-department support.
* Excellent written skills and the ability to present complex H&S issues in a clear and concise manner.
