The Role:
Our client requires an Information Management Analyst to join their Information Management team based in Perth, for an initial 2 years contract position. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that IM process and policies are correctly followed. This role will work to automate and improve IM processes and standards and contribute to a customer focused culture.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and training for the Engineering Data Warehouse, Digital Asset Visualisation Portal, Pims, SharePoint & other IM activities.
  • Ensure IM requirements and processes are consistently applied across the project
  • Assist in the development, modification, and maintenance of IM documentation, reports, systems, processes and tools.
  • Provide feedback to ensure that implemented applications fully support the workflow, security, and completeness of the information.
  • Promote and champion IM processes, standards and best practice.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of IM strategies, plans, standards or specifications
  • Prepare and conduct training sessions to support information management technologies, tools and processes for the project team and key external integrated contractors.
  • Collaborate with project and operation stakeholders to capture and define IM requirements.
  • Perform data verification to confirm consistency and integrity of engineering data
  • Interface with Company and Contractors to support the resolution of Information related queries
  • Assist with Software / Application Support.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant IM experience in upstream oil and gas
  • MS SharePoint administration experience
  • Extensive experience with MS Office tools
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a small and dynamic team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to present ideas in a focused and concise manner

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Management Engineering disciplines or equivalent experience
  • Experience defining database queries (SQL).
  • Basic programming knowledge.
