The Role:
A new opportunity has become available for IT - Data management in our client's Pre-Operations department in Perth. In this role you will be responsible for management of engineering data to meet requirements of the project and operation phases of the FPSO, Subsea and Gas Export Pipeline assets.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Contributing to strategies, plans, standards or specifications that support engineering data management (EDM)
* Championing the data centric approach to information management
* Establishing a data quality framework
* Ensuring EDM requirements and processes are consistently applied across all the Project work locations
* Manage the implementation of the Engineering Data Warehouse (EDW) and Digital Asset Visualisation Portal (DAVP)
* Engage and manage interfaces with contractors for EDM requirements
* On-board and implement contractor Integrated Engineering Systems (IES) for operation phase engineering activities of the asset
* Collaborate with project/operation stakeholders to define IM requirements
* Deliver a Class Library within Information Standards Manager (ISM)
* Implement company systems and processes to verify contractor information
* Interface with software vendors to ensure EDM systems are implemented and configured to meet project and operation requirements
* Develop MOC processes to govern engineering data requirements
* Interface with Company/Contractors to support Engineering Data related queries

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Circa 10+ years' relevant, document & data management experience with EDW systems with a broad and detailed knowledge of projects, operations, business processes/ systems, and Information management
* Extensive experience in engineering data, intelligent engineering systems, information management, engineering and project management
* Multi-discipline experience with Engineering Class Library implementation, data collection and validation
* Experience in defining database queries (SQL)
* Experience in engineering data analysis
* Previous team coordinator / supervisor experience

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Basic programming knowledge
