The Role:
The Project Engineer, under the direction of the Project Lead, will deliver projects for the Bayu Undan and Darwin LNG facilities.
Key Accountabilities
* Delivery of assigned projects utilising Small Projects Management System (SPMS)
* Ensuring Project Scope, Schedule & Costs are managed.
Key Responsibilities
* Formulate and implement the assigned project objectives, consistent with principles, policies and requirements. Define project objectives, namely budget, schedule, stakeholder interests, HSE and quality.
* Define and Coordinate project deliverables across functional Groups: Technical, Implementation, Supply Chain, Operations
* Ensure Projects have the defined business case & meet applicable business drivers and internal and JV requirements.
* Ensure the management and project queries and change control throughout project life-cycle
* Support project services / project control processes (e.g. Planning & Cost Control Teams)
* Liaise with stakeholders, preparation and issue of project documents, and coordinate/facilitate meetings as required
* Maintain working relationships with Contractors and Stakeholders
* Close-out of assigned projects, upon completion of scopes of work, in accordance with requirements.
* Some supervisory functions for small projects, mentorship of third-party engineers.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* A tertiary qualification (Bachelor's Degree or higher) in a suitable engineering discipline, mechanical or electrical engineering is required.
* Minimum 10-15 years practical experience in engineering (including project services and project controls), preferably in the Oil and Gas or Petrochemical sectors.
* Minimum 7 years demonstrated Brownfield project engineering experience or attributes that enable working in a Brownfield O&M environment.
Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Formal qualifications in Project Management and accreditation from project management organisations such as Project Management Institute will be highly regarded.
