The Role:
The Project Engineer will manage scope, cost estimates and schedules, through from Detailed Design Engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning and operations establishment.

* Be accountable for ensuring Scope, Schedule, HSE, Cost and Quality are effectively managed.
* Manage technical personnel, consultants and engineering contractors completing the project.
* Assist the Asset Transition Project Manager with Project Management deliverables in accordance with Capital Project Management System (CPMS) requirements.
* Develop, provide input to and support, as required, key project decisions
* Act as the Focal Point for all personnel, contractors and consultants working on the assigned project Scopes.
* Accountable for scope cost and schedule forecasts and for any changes.
* Provide information and engage with the project cost controller to allow for effective cost control throughout the current project phase.
* Monitor cost and schedule for Purchase Orders placed for assigned project scope, reviewing change orders and invoices as required.
* Coordination of project deliverable across functional Groups: Technical, Implementation, Supply Chain, Operations, etc as required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering is required
* Extensive experience in project engineering (including project services and project controls), preferably in the Oil and Gas or Petrochemical sectors
* Demonstrated onshore Oil and Gas Brownfield projects experience and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders
* Experience with execute phase on a major capital project
* Proven ability to work effectively and positively while dealing with uncertainty and conflicting priorities in an evolving landscape
* Prior maintenance, operational, construction or project experience on Liquefied Natural Gas Plants
* Background in Instrument, Control and Electrical Engineering
