The Role:
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Subsea and Pipeline (SSPL) Project Planner who will be responsible for providing planning, scheduling and reporting services to the Project for the integrated scope. The position will be based in Perth on a 24 month contract.

Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

* Ensure schedules and plans are following Company corporate requirements and specific Project procedures.
* Monitor contractor schedules and reports to ensure progress is in line with approved baseline and advise management with deviations that are observed or expected. Propose recovery plans when progress is behind planned progress.
* Review contractor schedules for completeness and contractual compliance, including analysis of logic, float, resources and level of detail
* Develop and maintain schedule for the Project including monitoring critical path for SSPL, D&C and project activities.
* Prepare Risk Schedule and Basis of Schedule; provide references, variance ranges and context for all elements, and provide input to Project Basis of Schedule for SSPL scope of work.
* Develop, update, and report on SSPL progress curves and identify and follow up on key project risks.
* Review, monitor, and update interfaces with other project functions such as sub-surface, DLE, and FPSO activities. Provide planning assistance, as required.
* Compile and issue weekly and monthly progress reports.
* Provide presentation and schedule schematics (what-if scenario's) to assist with communicating information and planning context to management and stakeholders.
* Assist contract and purchase order administration activities by review/assessment of the schedule impact of proposed variations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

* Extensive experience as a Planner in upstream oil and gas projects.
* Recent experience as a Planner on subsea and export pipeline scopes of work.
* Expert in the use of Primavera P6 for schedule development.
* Expert in the use of Milestone Professional for preparing summary schedules.
* Able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
* Teamwork and effective collaboration with various discipline personnel and with project management.


Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience in one or more of the following scopes of work:

* Marine installation - SURF or pipelay.
* Subsea Production System manufacturing, fabrication and installation.
* Flexible products and umbilical manufacturing.
* Line pipe manufacture and corrosion coating.
