The Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced and analytical Reliability Engineer responsible in leading the maintenance and reliability activities across the project. The position will be interfacing with key stakeholders,, SAP Master Data personnel, discipline engineers and Production supervisors.

As the successful candidate your responsibilities include but not be limited to:

  • Define and build the Front End Loading (FEL) Level 3 maintenance and reliability deliverables including recurring equipment preservation activities outlined in FEL-2 studies.
  • Undertake reliability, availability, and maintainability analysis to provide input into economic and commercial modelling.
  • Define the build requirements for the Execute Phase including durations and estimates for BOM's, PS's, PM's.
  • Ensure maintenance & reliability activities are aligned.
  • Identify fit-for-risk practical and sustainable reliability improvement and optimisation opportunities across the project design.
  • Review, refine and monitor use of existing toolsets and maintenance reliability management system for gathering analysing and disseminating performance and reliability related data.
  • Identify new Information systems and data analytics opportunities to assist in optimising the project Target Installed Cost (TIC).

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • Holds an engineering degree
  • At least 10 years of recent experience in a similar role within the onshore and offshore Oil & Gas Operations
  • Demonstrated field experience across a range of equipment (rotating equipment, mechanical, instrumentation, controls, & electrical)
  • Demonstrated experience with RAM modelling concepts
  • Advanced SAP experience
  • Strong experience in Planned Maintenance Optimisation (PMO) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA); Failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA)
  • Reliability hazard analysis and Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) calculation
  • Preferable Spotfire knowledge
  • Demonstrated experience across Condition Monitoring
  • Australian working rights
