The Role:
Our client is looking for a Senior Project Planner to develop, baseline, progress and forecast the plans and schedules for their brownfields project portfolio.

Reporting to the Integrated Planning Lead, responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Responsible for developing, baseline and monitor full life cycle schedules for the brownfields projects portfolio.
* Facilitate 2-Way communications between all parties involved in engineering, Supply chain, construction, HSE, and Operations to develop and execute project plans and schedules.
* Develop critical path analysis that feeds into the risk assessment schedules and identify key project risks.
* Run schedule risk analyses to determine expected probabilistic dates for project activities and milestones.
* Provide the responsible Project Engineer the clear visibility of project status and forecast schedule risks or issues and recommend mitigation strategy.
* Develop suite of reports to clearly communicate the accurate status of project schedules to internal and external stakeholders. Particularly progress against baseline schedules, key schedule risks and recovery plans.
* Collect status and progress information from the relevant contractors and critically assess for consistency and progress relative the approved plan.
* Evaluate contractor reports and invoices for claimed earned progress.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Minimum qualification is Trade/Diploma level qualification in Electrical or Mechanical field.
* Minimum 10 years' experience in planning / scheduling associated with oil and gas projects.
* Excellent communication and people management skills. Must be able to clearly communicate project risks and influence deliverables outcomes.
* Advanced scheduling tool experience e.g. Primavera or similar.
* Proven planning coordination and leadership skills in project environments.
* Must have strong PC skills including the use of MS Word, Excel, and Project.
* Able to adjust to changing schedules and priorities.
* Must be able to work in multi-discipline large project team environment.
