The Role:
During the project phase, lead the operations involvement in the subsea component of the project, manage operations related interfaces and drive completion of the operability assurance (OA) deliverables and transfer the project and startup knowledge back to operations. Develop key processes, procedures and programs to ensure Business Unit readiness for startup. This role will be seconded into the subsea project team to work primarily within the Systems group and will transition into Production Operations where accountabilities and responsibilities will change.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

* Responsible for Well Integrity Management by developing the Subsea Well Barrier Manual and ensuring compliance in production operations.
* Develop production system operating, surveillance and maintenance procedures in compliance with relevant government legislation, regulations and standards.
* Develop individual Well standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with the Well Design Operating Envelope, Subsea System Design Operating Envelope and Well Handover documentation.
* Develop start-up procedures for the subsea wells and production facilities.
* Responsible for operations integration with the subsea and topsides production systems e.g. hydraulics, chemical management, sand monitoring etc.
* Coordinate preparation and approval of operating procedures for production facilities including the liquids management and hydrate management / remediation procedures.
* Attending FAT, SIT for subsea equipment as required.
* Assist with development of Emergency Response Plans.
* Develop production systems training and competency packages for operations personnel.
* Liaising with Asset Integrity to establish appropriate risk based inspection program for all subsea infrastructure including wells, risers, umbilical's and flowlines.
* Ensure that all production engineering related procedures are developed in compliance with agreed procedures, standards, and well operability/design limits.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Offshore experience
* Experience in Major Capital projects
* Exposure to Operations Assurance & Operations Readiness
* Experience with high rate gas condensate wells
* Able to step up to a supervisory level capacity when required as part of commissioning activities.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Process or Mechanical Engineering Degree or significant industry experience in lieu of degree qualification
* >10 year's experience in the oil & gas industry.
* Experience with operation of subsea wells and flowlines / production facilities
* Good understanding of key reservoir, subsea and topsides facility operational issues associated with high temperature gas / condensate subsea systems.
