The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Lead for our Phase 2a project scope. Reporting into the Phase 2a Topside Manager, this role will be based in Perth.
This position will provide crucial engineering management guidance to deliver a quality deliverable for FEED and Detailed Design for both the Phase 2a and 2b Brownfield modifications. You will manage an integrated team with deliverables timings to be in line with the procurement and execution phase.

Key responsibilities include:

* Conducting all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures. Ensuring the welfare of personnel and the protection of assets and the environment at all times.
* Defining and managing the engineering requirements and quality of deliverables for Brownfield of 2a+ 2b FEED and Execution stages including the appropriate application of standards and specifications.
* Managing a TQD/MOC process, ensure appropriate sign-off on deviations to standards and specifications.
* Managing all technical and engineering aspects for the brownfield and tie-in contract for Offshore installation of 2a+2b scope.
* Managing the Brownfield interface.
* Ensuring interface with Internal Technical Authorities and Operations Engineering. Ensuring that all relevant stakeholders including Tokyo technical division are informed, and their support is secured for all key Project technical and engineering activities and deliverables.
* Ensuring the deliverables needed for procurement are provided in time. Assist procurement department during procurement phase (vendors doc review/technical assistance/ensure proper IRC at factory delivery).
* Working closely with the Topside Manager to ensure timely mobilization of capably key discipline engineers to support the respective FEED and execute deliverables.
* Participating in workshops and reviews.
* Representing engagements with 3rd party consultants and contractors.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Tertiary Engineering Degree (or equivalent) with an extensive background in the Oil & Gas industry, which must include offshore topsides facilities engineering with large brownfield scope elements.
* Strong Experience in FEED and detailed design delivery, to include engineering design office and module fabrication exposure.
* Familiar with key engineering codes and standards.
* Willing to travel as required for business both domestically and overseas.
* A strong team player, who can provide leadership in dealing with resolution of interfaces (external and internal).
* Computer literate.
