The Role:
We are now searching for an experienced Lead Construction Engineer, LNG Trains to lead construction activities though to successful hand-over and completion.

Other responsibilities include:
* Monitor personnel compliance with HSE policies and accepted best practice.
* Advise Package Manager and HSE Manager of opportunities for improvement.
* Review and provide comments on Contractor schedule (including engineering and procurement), as well as schedules from vendors, subcontractors and fabricators.
* Prompt and influence Contractor's mitigation and schedule recovery plans.
* Review and provide comments on specific Contractor deliverables (as per Document Deliverable Matrix).
* Participate in weekly engineering meeting when required.
* Monitor vendor quality and schedule performance through client and Contractor established reporting system.
* Participate in regular construction meetings when required.
* Monitor Contractor's performance in issuing engineering and procurement deliverables in compliance with execution requirements.
* Cultivate a "NO CHANGE" policy during EPC.
* Assume a lead role in identifying and assessing the potential for contract changes arising from engineering, procurement and fabrication activities.
* Liaise with other project functions (Engineering, Quality, Contracts, Construction, HSE and Commissioning) to ensure that integrity, quality and schedule requirements are met and issues are identified and addressed.
* Effectively engage in business cost reduction initiatives.

26/9 rotation or Residential (Preferred)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this role you will hold at least a degree qualification and have demonstrated knowledge and experience in the following:
* Required knowledge of one or more of the following; Engineering, Construction, Contract management, Cost control, or planning.
* Minimum of 10 years Oil & Gas Project experience, particularly in project team
* Ability to detect, analyse, and resolve technical and commercial issues
* Minimum of 5 years direct experience in one or more of the following; Engineering, Construction, Contract management, Cost control, or Planning.
