The Role:
We are seeking a Lead Quality Advisor for Subsea Production Systems (SPS) equipment to join the Project HSEQ team with our client, on a 12 month contract.

This position will effectively support the implementation and execution of the Quality Management Plan (QMP), through a strong collaboration with the HSEQ teams to achieve project and department T&Os and a successful Project delivery.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure Contractor compliance to Project quality requirements.
  • Ensure Verification Check Plans are established, maintained and updated.
  • Ensure Written Verification Schemes are maintained and updated.
  • Plan and conduct Contractor and Subcontractor audits and ensure action close out.
  • Ensure effective inspection management as per QMP and budget requirements.
  • Review Contractors and Subcontractors ITPs and mark-up Company surveillance points in line with equipment and material criticality ratings.
  • Manage procurement, source inspection assignments.
  • Manage site fabrication QC inspection personnel and or team(s).
  • Review & monitor Contractor Special Processes (e.g. welding, NDT, coating etc.) procedures & personnel qualifications.
  • Ensure Company NCR's are managed and closed effectively.
  • Monitor Contractor and Subcontractor raised NCR's to ensure effective management and closure.
  • Monitor and support MRB review and approvals are up to date with manufacture and construction progress.
  • Support effective tracking and reporting of the Company and Contractor Quality KPIs.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical /Metallurgy etc.) or equivalent.
  • Recognised Auditor Qualification with demonstrable experience in participating in audits, or reviews in a project environment.
  • Relevant industry memberships / certifications viewed as beneficial.
  • Extensive Quality Assurance and Control experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Demonstrable experience in the overall management of subsea project verification activities (2nd & 3rd party).
  • Strong interpersonal skills promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • A collaborative and open approach to working with others.
  • The ability to work under pressure and deliver when needed.
  • The ability to achieve given objectives within the prescribed timeframe.
