The Role:
As Occupational Health & Wellbeing Advisor you will promote a positive workplace health and wellbeing culture through a focus on early intervention, wellbeing initiatives and strategic health improvement projects in collaboration with the functional and operational HSE teams.

Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
o Develop and publish relevant Standards and procedures relevant to effective management of injury and illness, health and fitness for work
o Work with Manager on development of strategic planning & budgeting requirements to align with HSEQ Strategy
o Comply with all relevant internal and external audits
o Implement and maintain a robust injury management system
o Proactively manage work related or non-work-related injuries
o Support and oversee implementation and maintenance of wellbeing programs to align with agreed strategic objectives
o Identify key health risks to personnel health and wellbeing and establish controls to effectively manage these with the support of functional and operational HSE teams.
o Develop relationships internally to build trust and promote a positive culture of health and wellbeing

Here in Australia, they are involved in one of the largest LNG projects with operations spanning exploration, production and downstream. Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualifications in Allied Health Discipline (e.g.: Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy).
* Professional Registration (i.e. Register Nurse, AHPRA Registration)
* Extensive experience in injury case management and workers compensation claim management
* Experience in heavy industry, mining, construction and/or oil and gas
* Experience in development and implementation of wellbeing programs
