The Role:
We are now searching for an experienced Painting & Insulation Supervisor to join our very busy team on site in Darwin. The position is responsible to provide specialist Painting and Insulation construction expertise to both the contractor and company teams, utilizing an array of experience so as to ensure the best and most cost effective construction methods are used during early works and through to EPC execution.

Other duties will include;
The Supervisor will be responsible for the management of main Contractor during EPC execution phase for Painting and Insulation activities within the Bladin Point LNG site
Ensure best practice construction considerations and methods are delivered to the project for EPC and related activities.
Provide an interface between construction and engineering by supporting discipline engineers during constructability issues and reviews for both company and contractor
Provide input to the contractor in relation to module and stick built Painting and Insulation methods and installation sequences, development of supplementary scaffolding and access plans, crane usage plans, manpower planning, Australian legislations, and interface with mechanical and E&I discipline works
Co-ordinate with Operations team to meet design requirements of LNG operability, plant start up, pre-commissioning and safe operations.
Monitor Subcontractor's manufacturing processes (including technicians and inspector qualifications, Contractor's inspector input, implementation of agreed procedures, construction drawings, and testing etc)
Attend as the Company nominated construction representative for Coating and Insulation discipline witness and monitor intervention points in conjunction with the Quality Representatives on Site Construction ITPs
Monitor and ensure implementation of Painting and Insulation works to support the RFC and RFSU handover schedule
Ensure discipline records are included for handover to achieve the requirements of RFC and RFSU

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this role you will hold NACE Level 2 preferred or suitable 10 years construction Painting Supervision Experience and have demonstrated knowledge and experience in the following:

Previous Painting and Insulation Supervision experience on major LNG projects,
Previous experience in Marine environment
Experience in working as a Supervisor for the client team,
Excellent communication, supervisory and contract management skills
