The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Contracts & Project Controls Manager for our Phase 2b Booster Compression project scope.

Reporting to the Phase 2b Pre-FEED Manager, this position will be providing guidance, leadership and support to the Phase 2b project package leads in all Contract, Procurement and Project Controls activities and deliverables.


Key responsibilities include:


*Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures. Ensuring the welfare of personnel and the protection of assets and the environment at all times.
*Managing and contributing to the day to day commercial and contractual aspects of all Phase 2b Contracts including:◦Analysing and providing advice on contract documentation
◦Coordinating the Contract Tendering process including Expressions of Interest, pre-Qualifications, Call for Tender, Clarifications and Recommendations for Award
◦Anticipating, identifying and resolving any commercial and contractual issues with Contractors in a pragmatic and efficient manner, whilst maintaining relationships.
◦Managing Contract audits, reviewing records for accuracy and conformance to standards
◦Ensuring that contract processes are being carried out in the most efficient and cost-effective manner utilizing approved procedures and in close collaboration with C&P manager
◦Ensuring that commercial and contractual correspondence with contractors is efficiently handled

*Providing guidance and leadership to the Budget control, cost and schedule engineers
*Ensure cost and schedule estimates are up to date and reflect latest project definition and maturity
*Ensuring timely submission of annual budgets
*Providing guidance, leadership and support to the Contracts and Project Controls team in Phase-2b, perform supervisory tasks including setting of goals and performance review of team members.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
*Tertiary Qualification is required, ideally in Business, Law or Engineering,
*Significant experience in the Oil & Gas / Resources industry, in Contract Engineering or Contract Management through Tenders, Clarifications, Contract Administration and/or Contract Claims resolution.
*Experience in Australian contractor claims management and arbitration
*Has the ability to effectively lead teams.
*Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally to include strong negotiation skills.
*Highly motivated and reliable individual that can define short- and long-term goals and then set about achieving them with minimum intervention.
*High level of analytical skills regarding contract management and capable of providing guidance to technical team members to effectively manage contracts and prevent claims.
*Enthusiastic attitude capable of positively influencing the team and various contractors and suppliers.
