The Role:
We are currently looking for an experienced Quality Coordinator to join our client's Perth based team. This position is offered as a Contractor position for 6 months, with the potential to extend. In this role reporting to the Drilling Quality Advisor, you are responsible for actively supporting quality assurance and quality control activities, in accordance with the Drilling Quality Management Plan.

Key functions of the role include:

  • Conducting all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the company's policies and procedures
  • Engaging with Drilling service contractors and supporting quality assurance and quality control activities, in accordance with Service Quality Plans
  • Managing all tasks associated with document control systems and Drilling materials management
  • Ensuring continuous improvement process facilitation, including non-conformance reporting
  • Coordinating third-party quality verification activities, as required
  • Effectively engaging in business cost reduction initiatives

Our client is a global market leader within the energy sector with projects in over 30 countries worldwide. Here in Australia, they are involved in one of the largest LNG projects with operations spanning exploration, production and downstream. Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • A Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Business (or similar, relevant discipline)
  • Offshore Australian Oil & Gas industry experience within a similar role, with some exposure to and an understanding of Drilling & Completions equipment required
  • A working knowledge of business and quality management systems e.g. ISO 9001 & API Spec Q1 & Q2
  • Document control process and systems
  • An effective communicator (including strong technical writing skills) required
  • Process and task orientated
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 Office software packages, including MS Power Apps
