The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Asset Integrity/IVB Engineer to join a leading global Oil & Gas operator located in Perth, WA. The main purpose of this role is to contribute to successful delivery of the companies Australian projects and operation/maintenance of existing Australian assets by provision of Asset Integrity Governance & Assurance

Key responsibilities include:
* Lead and participate in Asset Integrity independent assurance reviews on projects and operating facilities to confirm compliance with standards and processes for Asset Integrity
* Management of Operational Classification/Statutory services and Independent Verification Body (IVB) scopes
* Support to Lead Technical/Safety Case Engineers as required
* Ensure good governance via the maintenance and improvement of company BMS standards and processes for Asset Integrity
* Contribute to and support the goals of the HSE Technical Safety team

Here in Australia, they are involved in one of the largest LNG projects with operations spanning exploration, production and downstream. Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Tertiary Engineering Degree or higher technical qualification
* Min 10 years' experience in oil and gas EPCM and Facilities Engineering and Operations related experience.
* Be able to advise internal stakeholders on matters relating to Classification and IMO Statutory conventions
* Knowledge and preferably experience managing Independent Verification Body(IVB) activities
* Have a good understanding of Asset Integrity and Process Safety Principals
* Good understanding and knowledge of Australian Oil and Gas regulation including of the Safety Case regime
* Good understanding and familiarity with a broad rage of technical safety studies related to the Formal Safety Assessment process
* Experience and participation in Oil and Gas Assurance programs
* Preferably hold ISO 90001 Lead Auditor Certification
* Be able to advise and consult with Senior Project Stakeholders and corporate parties

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Demonstrated Technical competence in relevant Engineering Discipline
* Ability to comprehend and participate in discussions on a broad range of technical matters related to oil and gas facilities
* Coordinating and leading and participating in Asset Integrity Independent Reviews
* Experienced in regulatory matters related to Oil and Gas facilities
* Ability to write concise and comprehensive technical reports
* Develop SMART actions for Asset Integrity Independent Review findings and recommendations
