The Role:
We are seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to join our client's Project Team on a 12-month contract. Reporting to the Contracts & Controls Manager, this position will be responsible for providing contracts administration services to support the successful delivery of the Booster Compression Module contracts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures always
  • Ensure that stakeholders are informed, and their support is secured for all contracts and procurement related activities and deliverables
  • Providing day-to-day support to the Booster Compressor Module (BCM) Package Lead in administering the contract packages
  • Administering contracts in accordance with approved contract management plans and procedures
  • Proactively identifying and advising on commercial and contractual risks associated with the contract
  • Providing feedback on the BCM FEED contractor performance and participate in reviews of the final Module EPC Contract Exhibits
  • Supporting other contract package Leads as and when required including the preparation of small value Purchase Orders and CTR

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • Business Degree in Construction Management/Quantity Surveying/Law or Engineering (or equivalent) is preferred for this role
  • Circa 10 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong background in Oil and Gas contracting, preferably in the administration of topsides FEED and EPC contracts. This should include exposure to engineering, fabrication and construction practices
  • Sound understanding of the principles of contracts law, business ethics and the contractual/commercial principles adopted within the industry and an ability to apply these logically to practical situations
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively in order to meet stringent deadlines
  • Highly computer literate with strong communication skills, both verbal and written
