The Role:
Our client is seeking a Structural & Fabrication Engineer to provide input to deliver quality FEED contracts and FEED technical deliverables. During FEED, this position will provide essential input to the Module EPC and offshore brownfields execution contract development, whilst in the execute phase this position will perform a leading role in the oversight of the booster compression module fabrication and offshore hook-up.

Your primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Conducting all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures.
* Providing leadership and guidance on all aspects of Technical Safety during FEED contract tendering and FEED execution such as HAZOPS and adherence to applicable codes and standards.
* Establish an appropriate safety culture in the booster compression fabrication yard.
* Managing all booster compression project structural and fabrication engineering interfaces during FEED and beyond.
* Providing structural and fabrication engineering discipline support to the project phase package leads responsible for delivering the Brownfields, Lift and Module packages.
* Defining and managing the structural and fabrication engineering requirements and quality of deliverables for FEED and execution contracts including the appropriate application of standards and specifications.
* Adhering to the TQD process, ensure appropriate sign-off on deviations to standards and specifications.
* Managing all structural and fabrication engineering technical and engineering aspects of the FEED and execution tenders for the brownfield and tie-in contract, Offshore Installation contract, Module fabrication contract and Long Lead Items Purchase agreements.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

* Tertiary Engineering Degree (or equivalent).
* Strong background of Oil and Gas industry experience, including topsides offshore facilities structural and/or fabrication engineering with large brownfield scope elements. Hands-on experience with module fabrication is a significant advantage.
* Experience in FEED and detailed design delivery, preferable worked in engineering design office or fabrication yard at some stage in career.
* Familiar with key engineering codes and standards and processes for seeking deviations and exemptions.
* Willing to travel as required for business both domestically and overseas.
