The Role:
Day to day management and continuous improvement of the electrical power system and equipment availability across the area/asset by reviewing associated KPI data eg. outages, power alarms, generation availability.
Implement/manager minor electrical modifications eg. update single lines and protective relay settings for needed changes.
Review and coordinate ICE MOC content
Day to day plant optimization eg. power system integrity, power generation optimization, large motor starting procedures, alarm management, etc.
Oversight of third party specialty testing vendors doing planned maintenance tasks for quality and safety.
Provide safety auditing of craftsmen and electrical equipment during field exposure.
Coordinate with C&I interfaces for control, data acquisitions and equipment interfaces with the primary control systems.
Help develop maintenance and safety procedures for work performance.
Oversee instrumentation, Controls and Electrical (ICE) engineering queries/activities which are
assigned by the Area Engineering Support Team Leader, ensuring safe and reliable operation of the facility.
Provide immediate engineering support to the Area Operations for topside breakdown maintenance, ensuring that the instrumentation, controls and electrical kit are fit for use on the facility and are functioning as per design intent.
Addressing day to day issues, eg through daily Ops meeting and Instrumentation and Control system equipment.
Provide Control and Instrumentation support to the projects within the Area.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering or Equivalent
At least 5 years' experience and more than 2 years' experience working in the oil and gas industry.
Strong Instrumentation and Control system skills.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostics skills.
With good interpersonal relationship skills.
Good at working in a team.
Available to work offshore.
Having previously worked within the client's system would be an asset.
