The Role:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring safe and efficient execution of all design and construct activity at facilities under Facilities Management and Service Department remit. The Project Coordinator will lead the efforts to achieve optimum construction and outfitting performance for projects undertaken by Facilities Management and Service Department. This position acts as the primary interfaces with contractors to ensure that construction strategies are aligned with project and site goals. The Project Coordinator has first level responsibility for construction activity and is charged with coordinating a number of contractors from space planning, architects, furniture and outfitting vendors to HSSE representatives.

Additionally, the Project Coordinator will manage Facilities Management and Service Department special projects and is accountable for the coordination and delivery of all personnel relocations, adds and changes at clients' office sites.

Roles and Responsibilities:
 Develop and implement a strategy to ensure efficiency in the delivery of project services under Facilities Management and Service Department remit
 Develop and finalize projects scopes for internal circulation and final communication to vendors
 Support bid review processes and recommend alternations to scopes as required to ensure alignment with project budget
 Support multiple mini-projects simultaneously to achieve maximized business return on investment
 Provides oversight in the areas of construction safety and contractor safety performance
 Performance manages project contractors to ensure that maximum value is extracted in the execution of services
 Provides oversight of project construction performance
 Coordinates management of project construction activities, with emphasis on risk reduction and management
 Reviews project specifications and drawings
 Ensures that construction activities are planned, scheduled and coordinated to meet agreed priorities
 Ensures that all contractors meet procurement and safety requirements
 Facilitates/Lead/participates in project reviews meetings
 Maintains strong client interface
 Timely project estimating, budgeting, scheduling and reporting
 Project QA/QC and assure all project completions and handover certification requirements are met
 Ensure projects vendors deliver wholistic As Built documentation and support internal project handover procedures and documentations are required upon project completion.

Qualifications and Experience:
 Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or construction management.
 5+ years direct project management experience
 Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing construction and outfitting projects
 Architectural or Construction industry experience required.
 Work experience/education with the following computer applications or related applications required: Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, CAD
 Detailed knowledge of building engineering systems and relevant design codes
 Knowledge of HSSE systems
 Engineering certification or degree
Previous major design and outfitting project experience (preferred).
