The Role:

The Project Engineer is the SPA for the assigned project and is accountable to the Project Manager. He/she receives direction the project manager, with respect to project strategy, mission, objectives and plans during the various stages of project development in order to:


* Coordinate and monitor the assigned project activities across the various project functions.
* Ensure that all project activities meets clients' HSSE objectives - NO ACCIDENTS; NO HARM TO PEOPLE; NO HARM TO THE ENVIRONMENT
* Plan and coordinate the timely integration and completion of all reviews and deliverables required for the project stage gates.
* Prepare/co-ordinate the preparation of key project management documentation, e.g. project Statement of Requirements; Project Execution Plans; Risk Management Plans.
* Interact daily with key project stakeholders to understand and interpret their needs and requirements and represent/implement them in the project execution plans and activity schedules as well as during project execution.
* Manage the timely flow and resolution of technical interfaces between the EPMS/EPCIC Contractor and key project stakeholders as required.
* Monitor and supervise day-to-day execution contractor activities and identify and implement corrective action as appropriate.
* Monitor project's compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
* Manage the execution of key project management processes (e.g. Risk Management, MoC) maintain overview of status and expedite responses and close out.
* Interface with project stakeholders to manage risks to delivery and ensure adequate risk management and/or contingency plans are developed
* Participate in assurance reviews of functional deliverables and initiate/coordinate appropriate corrective actions to close out.
* Performance manage the work and monitor KPI's (budget, schedule, plans) and report regularly on project status.
* Manage the timely and accurate provision of reporting information for the Project.
* Ensure the implementation and follow up on actions / decisions made during the Project Leadership Team meetings.
* Provide input and assist PSCM to develop and implement contract and procurement strategies in delivering the project or specific scopes of work.
* Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants, internal and external, to provide any other assistance and technical support.


Qualifications:
Relevant Engineering Degree
Experience in Brownfield construction
On shore construction experience.
Experience as single point of contact for project scope.

Other:
Ability to work independently.
Self motivated.
