The Role:
Subsea Pipeline Engineer will be responsible for; the day to day management of subsea pipeline and dynamic riser integrity including the preparation and implementation of risk prevention strategies.

Key Accountabilities:
1. Management of Design and Installation Contractors Manage and develop riskbased integrity management strategies and degradation models for the subsea pipelines and dynamic risers
2. Manage the Pipeline Consents and Approvals process to ensure all regulatory approvals are in place for operational modifications and project work Participate in and provide Technical Support to new projects including managing the input of engineering contractors and equipment
3. Work with the Subsea Installation Team to ensure installation proposals and procedures are optimised to protect the integrity of installed equipment Prepare OPEX budgets for Integrity Management activities and manage spend against agreed budgets Maintain a strong focus on HSE including leadership to contractors and vendors

Essential Criteria:
1. Experience in Subsea Pipeline Design Operation and or Integrity Management
2. A positive can-do- attitude and proven team working capability
3. A minimum of a BachelorÂ's Degree in Engineering or the equivalent UK degree Advanced of relevant work experience preferable in the oil and gas industry

Desirable Criteria:
1. Experience in the Management of Design and Installation Contractors Previous experience in the onshore management of offshore operations
2. Experience in the Design and Operation of Flexible Pipe Dynamic Riser Systems An understanding of Integrity Management
3. Previous commissioning experience Proven analytical capability in the Subsea Pipeline Design field

- Travel: 3% travel per business unit: candidate may have to visit off-shore facility/platforms or on shore operating sites.
- Intent: Provide deep subsea pipeline engineering expertise and judgement in support of engineering risk, integrity management and the delivery of safe, compliant and efficient operations.

Other Responsibilities:

1. Provide pipeline engineering expertise as the Equipment Class Owner for the equipment classes as assigned by department requirements.
2. Ensure pragmatic solutions are identified and implemented to manage risk, production efficiency, defect elimination and standardisation, to deliver safe, reliable and compliant operations.
3. Own and maintain the documents and data for the assigned pipelines.
4. Own and maintain the pipeline risk assessment for the Region ensuring that the identified threats reflect current operations and use this to define, implement and manage regional pipeline threat mitigation programs across IM and other functions.
5. Prepare, review and endorse pipeline-related metrics (e.g. pipeline integrity dashboard and LOPC data) and intervene where appropriate.
6. Integrate with associated disciplines to ensure adequate equipment care, including maintenance & engineering, corrosion, flow assurance.production chemistry, pressure systems integrity, and structural & civil engineering.
7. Provide pipeline engineering support to F4S barrier evaluations and incident investigations.
8. Record relevant learning in shared learning systems, incorporate into local activities, specifications/practices/procedures and escalate high priority lessons.
9. Technical support to the management of subsea operation's contractors (e.g. subsea engineering contractors).
