The Role:
As an Electrical Fitter / Control Panel Wireman you will conduct / complete the following duties:
* Layout of electrical components within electrical control panels and on equipment framework.
* Installation of cable tray, trunking and conduits.
* Wiring of Electrical Control Panels, frame mounted components and specialised machinery.
* Correct use of tools, such as power tools, crimp tools, etc.
* Liaise with personnel both internal and external to the company to ensure that the requirements of all parties are executed in a safe manner and to a high standard.
* Ensure conformance to all local client and company procedures, including the relevant legislations.

Key Ares:
* All work undertaken to be in line with the company Quality Manual & Procedures.
* All work to be completed in line with the Company Health & Safety Policy & Procedures.
* Able to read and interpret Electrical General Arrangement, Schematic and Wiring Drawings.
* Undertake mechanical fitting of electrical components and associated equipment.
* Fit wiring and wire control panels in accordance with supplied drawings.
* Inspect and test own work at predefined stages and sign-off as correct to drawings.
* Ability to work within a team or independently.
* Self-motivated with the ability to meet set deadlines.
* Any other tasks deemed to be within your capabilities.
* Carrying out other duties and special projects as required and working flexibly within the CSS team to ensure that the current and future needs of the business are met.
* Ensure that they understand and sign onto the relevant safe systems of work associated with the task.
* Record any problems encountered during the progress of the work and notify their line management of the details in a prompt manner.
* Inform the EC&I MPE of any errors found during build.
* Inform the EC&I MPE of any dangerous/ hazardous occurrences.
* Keep site and equipment clean and in a safe condition.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Ideally have completed, as a minimum, a recognised training scheme or apprenticeship (e.g. NSDS/NASEC/Company Training Scheme)
18th Edition Electrical Safety Regulations.
Previous experience of working on a Power Plant or Power Station or Nuclear Site would be beneficial
SC Clearance Preferred.
