The Role:
The Role

To assist HR colleagues with the delivery of a timely and effective HR administration service and co-ordinate a dual system process during final stage implementation of HCM project.

* Act as a 'Super User' for the HR System, including:- managing system changes, setting up and training new users and producing management information and system reports when required
* Work closely with HR team to ensure that sickness, absence and leaver data is accurately recorded in HR systems and that the correct processes are followed at all times
* Work closely with the Resourcing Consultant & HR Advisors to ensure that all on-boarding activity (contractor and permanent) is carried out in a timely manner.
* Tracking ALL new starters through to completion of their probationary period
* Provide administrative support for performance management training and input performance appraisal data into relevant HR systems
* Monitor the HR in-box as required, ensuring that all email enquiries are dealt with in line with SLA's and KPI's
* Administer correspondence for disciplinary & grievance and absence management documentation as requested by HR team
* Ensure that personnel files are accurately maintained to detail current information and support the HR Manager on personnel file audits when required
* Ensure that all changes to employee benefits are reflected on the HR system and recorded in personnel files
* Contribute to and participate in continuous improvement of all HR processes and undertake ad hoc HR projects if required

Experience Required

* Experience of HR administration in a small/medium sized business
* Experience of using an HR database - preferably ADP and / or Oracle
* Working knowledge of HR procedures and UK employment legislation
* Demonstrates an ability to prioritise conflicting demands whilst delivering a quality product on time
* High level of Microsoft Office skills to include: Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Outlook
* Self - starter who is equally confident and effective working alone or as part of a wider team
