The Role:
The HR Team Leader will supervise and manage the delivery of HR shared services and associated policies, processes and procedures ensuring compliance with relevant employment legislation.

Line Management of the central HR team ensuring the service provided meets quality and consistency levels and is delivered in a customer focussed way.

Manage team performance against key performance indicators to ensure accuracy and quality of all correspondence and reports generated by the central HR team.

Ensure that the HR processes and procedures in relation to the employee life cycle are completed in a timely manner, are accurate, and applied in a consistent manner.

The HR Team Leader will ensure that all Starters are on-boarded correctly (including the use of peoplefluent - recruitment system), that Company Induction processes take place in a timely manner and that probationary processes are followed.

Ensure that all Leavers are processed in a timely manner, exit interviews conducted, reasons for leaving analysed and information provided to payroll is correct.

With the HR Manager develop and review standard workflows where appropriate across all aspects of the HR service provision, sharing knowledge and ensuring all team members are trained on all aspects of the central teams work.

Work with the HR Manager to develop standard templates and documents for use by the HR team and to support the up skilling of managers by the Business Partner Team.

The HR Team Leader will support the central HR Team undertake general administrative tasks as and when required.

Ensure that the central HR team are providing a professional support to the Business Partner Team in relation to all clerical activities.

To ensure all general HR queries made by employees and managers are answers in a professional manner and strict timescale.

Oversee the team's use of the HR Systems (Oracle - HCM and ADP) ensuring accuracy of input and that controls in place are utilised.

Provide training and support to employees and Managers on the use of (Oracle - HCM)

To supply management information for key stakeholders when requested and ensure management information is prepared for the Board report in a timely manner.

Responsibility for the co-ordination and administration of the Company Flexible Benefit Scheme ensuring it is delivered in accordance with the annual flexible benefit cycle.

Deliver Induction Training and Training on HR policies and procedures.

Work with the HR Manager on Company related HR projects.

The HR Team Leader will undertake additional work activities required by the HR Team when requested to do so by the HR manager or HR Business Partner.

Demonstrable experience of working within a HR Shared Service Centre with a solid understanding of HR administration processes.

Experience of working on a HR Database preferably Oracle - HCM.

Employment and recruitment law knowledge.

Payroll administration knowledge would be desirable.

- Previous Supervisory Experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- NVQ level 3 in HR or equivalent.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver a quality service.
- Organised, thorough, analytical, and disciplined approach.
- Able to identify areas for improvement & gain the buy in from the team to new ways of working.
