The Role:
as the Key Account Manager for the Nuclear sector, you will contribute to the Business Development activities and support the securing of New Business to help generate a dedicated multi-million pound Order-Book and resultant Sales Revenue. The post holder will work closely with the Head of Business Development to support clients and manage tender responses within the companies nuclear account.

Key Activities:
* Maximise and exploit market opportunities with the Key Accounts, aligning the company to become a supplier of choice. This will involve developing Account engagement strategies, securing internal stakeholder agreement and implementing these strategies
* Hold responsibility for the delivery of first class tender responses, managing inputs from key areas including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Project Services
* Managing client/ buyer relationships during tender phase, including face to face meetings
* Support the Head of Business Development in the development of company Order-Book
* Office based working from the Birchwood Park or Wolverhampton office, with frequent customer site visits as required throughout the UK.
* Support the client with Market Intelligence activities and information systems, including Visit Plans, Visit Reports, CRM Information Systems, Monthly Sales Reports
* Represent the company at national events
* In conjunction with procurement seek & foster relationships with potential delivery partners
* General support of the Head of Business Development as required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Business or Engineering related degree
* Minimum 5 years proven track record in a sales/ tendering environment within either the nuclear or defence sector
* Eligible for Security Clearance
* Self-Motivated with a strong desire/ commitment to succeed
* Strong communication & presentation skills, both written and verbal
* Innovative and forward thinking and proactive nature able to work well as part of a team or under individual tasks. Demonstrating new ways of engaging with Key Accounts
* Existing contacts within the decommissioning, current generation, defence and nuclear new build industries.
* Good working knowledge of typical IT project tools (Microsoft office, Primavera, etc)
