The Role:
Responsible for all Support Service functions within the Procurement domain - Facilities, Reception and Indirect Procurement. The processes are up to date within support services and are adhered to by the department and all stakeholders. Management and development of the support services function and its team members. Demonstrate and Manage VFM activities/cost down and process efficiencies within the Support Services Department.

Key Activities / Decision Areas
Management of Indirect Services Commodities
Manage RFQ decision matrices for Indirect Commodities
Supervision of Support Services Team within Procurement Department
Introduction of leading procurement practices
Manage the Indirect/Facilities Budget
Manage Capex spending within the Support Services Department
Conduct capital spend and cost benefit analysis in support of strategic sourcing decisions
Tender written and oral opinions to internal customers on contracting strategies, market trends, and performance issues
Negotiate changes to contract terms and condition; negotiate / arbitrate performance disputes where required to successful resolution
Provide advisory services as needed to the Procurement Department
Establish and maintain close working relationships with customers within ANL and contractors/suppliers providing product and services to ANL
Conduct market research to ascertain market support capability including price trends
Represent Procurement at Internal and External Stakeholder meetings as and when required
Report on KPI's for Support Services Department and monitor and mitigate/resolve any performance issues to keep KPIs Performance Measures at top level

Management of communication forums within the business

Essential role related knowledge, technical skills, qualifications and experience:

Minimum 2 years in a management position supervising teams
Must be IT Literate with a good knowledge of Exel and Microsoft

Must be able to effectively interact with people in a broad range of disciplines
Must have strong communications skills: oral, written, and presentation
May from time to time be asked to visit other ANL locations
