The Role:
The client is looking for Welders who have worked on Structural fabrications

Role Purpose

Experienced in Welding safety critical STRUCTURAL large fabrications

Mechanical testing of work that requires consistently passing inspection. - Follows weld maps. - Maintains documentation as life time records are kept. - Must be a Good Team Worker with Good communications skills to insure information is passed from one shift to another.


Must have experience of CARBON STEEL AND DUPLEX Welding - Carbon Steel Welding - Nickel Chrome Welding Aluminium Welding - Monel (Ni/Cu Alloy) Welding - Documentation control



Qualifications

Apprentice Trained

Engineering/Craft Studies/Welding Operations. - Engineering based Qualifications previously held coded weld Qualifications

3-5 Years in either Nuclear or Engineering Sector (Essential) or Aerospace/Defence/Oil & Gas sector (Desirable). - Operational experience of welding. (Desirable). - Product Audit/Verification of weld process and experience of associated records. - Ability to interpret Engineering Customer Specifications and Engineering Drawings and define Weld requirements, Acceptance criteria, qualifications and approvals. - Pipe work installation and Pipe bending maybe advantageous
