The Role:
Position description:
The reliability/maintenance specialist primary objective is working with the Operations Services team in the implementation of Asset Management elements.
This will include but not be limited to Work Management, Material Management, Reliability Opportunity analysis and Proactive Maintenance.
This includes contributing to the development of maintenance workflows, system deployment, establishing equipment maintenance strategies, populating equipment databases, developing work instructions and performance standards.
As part of the Asset Management delivery team, the individual will work closely with project team, other subject matter experts and stakeholders while developing the Asset Management Plan.

Responsibilities:

- Key contributor to the development of Work Management, Material Management, Reliability Opportunity Analysis and Proactive Maintenance workflows adoption in operations and maintenance.
- Project team member for the CMMS deployment which includes the CMMS implementation and equipment load.
- Act as a maintenance/reliability specialist for project teams in all phases of project development. Provide input as required and complete the deliverables assigned.
- Setup of maintenance strategies for various types of equipment associated with Business Unit Assets. Create work instructions and performance standards as required for reliability critical systems
- Participate and/or facilitate the various workshops required during the development of maintenance strategies for all equipment. Create all documentation required to support the execution of maintenance programs.
- May also be required to participate in the performance management program to track and report on reliability related incidents; facilitate root cause analysis and the resolution of bad actors/repetitive failures.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Professional Engineer or Certified Engineering Technologist
* 10+ years of experience in an Upstream Oil and Gas operation, preferably onshore well pads, batteries and gathering systems.
* 5-10 of experience in the execution of maintenance management activities. This would include work order management, development preventative maintenance plans, developing maintenance work instructions and performance standards for critical maintenance activities.
* Experience in reliability analysis, investigations and developing improvement plans.
* Demonstrated experience in developing and documenting maintenance/reliability processes and workflows
* Proven ability to facilitate cross functional teams
* Must have a methodical and well organized approach to the work environment and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
* Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Self-motivated and able to influence and motivate others
* Experience working in a team environm

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Experience in maintaining various type of Upstream equipment like instruments, safety systems, low HP rotating equipment, various onsite power generation systems, etc.
