The Role:
Position Description:
Reporting to Team Manager/ Supervisor
The Supplier Technical Assistance (STA) function performs an important role within the clients Purchasing department taking responsibility for the capacity and quality performance of all new products and current vehicle bought out components. The team is also accountable for planning, monitoring, and controlling supplier manufacturing processes and activities, with the aim of enabling high-quality and on-time execution of product programmes as well as maintaining and improving current car supplier performance.
The purpose of the role is primarily to support the team with back office admin for eAPQP (Advanced Product quality planning) & On boarding of suppliers, manage IPSW & alerts (exception management process)
In your role, you'll:
Manage the programme status of the eAdvanced Product Quality Planning (eAPQP) activities within the team
Be responsible for managing the Programme iPs (interim Part submission warrant) from TT onwards, managing google doc. & chasing suppliers or key stake holders (SA Engineer/ Product Engineering/New Model Programme)
Manage and report the iPSW status of the programme on a daily basis.
Updates to the key main frame systems.
Manage departmental KPIs when required.

1)Strong Excel and PowerPoint
2)Strong organisation skills
3)Strong interpersonal & communication skills

Experience Required:
As a successful candidate, you must be able to demonstrate a consistent level of skill and ability for a number of capabilities.
You'll need:
Experience in supporting teams in Engineering or a Quality function
The ability to operate effectively at all levels of the organisation demonstrating good leadership, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Self-motivation along with excellent communication and presentation skills
Good leadership skills with ability to operate effectively at all levels of the organisation
Strong IT skills is a must with(Preferably) Advanced Excel, Vlookup, pivots, macros etc, Powerpoint, & navigation of mainframe systems, like SAP, WERS, WIPS etc.
Strong organisational skills
