The Role:
The Opportunity Trading Division (TD) is a growing division with our client. Its primary role is to support the development and advancement of new markets through the construction of a global supply chain network, and also support the production of vehicles outside of the UK, in turn making our client a truly global player. TD's secondary role is to leverage the existing capability to support sourcing of products for UK manufacture / aftermarket / branded goods and entrepreneurial opportunities. The team will establish significant cross functional stakeholder relationships, evaluate and harness global cost & supplier opportunities and be at the forefront of developing our function to support the companies aspirations to grow our organisation. As Process Lead you'll have a process thinking mind-set and process-literacy, with the ability to lead the deployment of new processes into the business, delivering coaching and guidance. You'll be an advocate and leader in the continual improvement of processes owned by our client, using LEAN principles, and the application of our clients best practice process improvement methodologies.

3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:

1. Experience of using ARIS toolset for process modelling (ESSENTIAL)
2. Experience of cross functional process development
3. Proven experience of identifying and delivering process improvements

Skills Preferred:

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities >Act as the enterprise lead for Trading Divisions End 2 End (E2E) process >Be responsible for the definition and governance of the E2E process >Ensure readily accessible and consumable process definition assets (processes, procedures, working instructions) that comprehensively describe all elements of the E2E processes, and through all levels of process definition >Manage delivery of a list of cross-functional process issues that urgently need to be addressed to allow business capability; define and drive the process improvement agenda, based on organisation capability assessments and lessons learned >Update and review regularly the E2E process landscape

Experience Required:

Work across functions to identify gaps in current processes and capabilities, and to ensure robust process definition, deployment and improvement within all the functional ownerships > Work collaboratively with process improvement areas of the business to ensure on-going enhancement, cost saving and efficiencies > Establish and lead key Trading Division process meetings > Act as lead operational administrator for Trading Division > Deliver periodic process KPIs and associated reporting > Support and where required lead audit activities within TD > Act as an SME and provide coaching to TD managers on process ownership and governance > Mobility across our West Midlands and North West site will be required and on occasion international travel will be required > Supervision and management of the day to day work of a C-Grade Process Analyst will also be involved > Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested from time to time

Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.
