The Role:
Certification Engineer
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to establish and maintain a Certification Delivery plan for products in an assigned market
- Proactively identify and resolve issues that may adversely affect delivery; ensuring that any impact on sales is minimised
- Work with internal stake holders to ensure design & test data is collected in a timely manner
- Lead the preparation of applications, editing and finalising data ready for submission in accordance with regulatory requirements
- You will support the wider Certification team in the development of internal standards and processes, and act as a point of contact for compliance issues identified in market
- Support in the determination of appropriate actions and assist the co-ordination of responses to regulatory bodies and their representatives
- Provide support to colleagues and senior management on the implications and impact of current and future legislative requirements

Skills Required:
1)Proven ability to manage the delivery of technical programmes within a required time and budget.
2)Proven ability to translate legal requirements into business deliverables with respect to technical programmes such as emissions measurement or control.
3)An individual, who works independently, is results driven, demonstrating tenacity, drive and perseverance with the ability to deliver operational plans in a complex, highly demanding environment.

The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Customer mind-set . Degree qualified or equivalent experience, An individual, who works independently, is results driven, demonstrating tenacity, drive and perseverance with the ability to deliver operational plans in a complex, highly demanding environment. Resilient and enthusiastic; able to respond constructively to new ideas and inputs. A effective team player, actively develops and supports team members. Able to demonstrate an awareness of vehicle emissions control and/or powertrain electrification

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Possess good organisational and business interface skills > Driving licence ¿ valid in the UK > An individual with the ability to challenge existing thinking in a positive way whilst building credibility and trust through experience and personal style > An individual with the capability to combine a short term, pragmatic focus with medium term planning > Able to demonstrate a practical knowledge of emissions certification in at least one of the following markets; Europe, USA, China, Brazil, Korea, India or Japan
