The Role:
Position Description:

Working within the Electrical Electronic and Software Engineering -In Vehicle Infotainment HW team. Supporting vehicle builds including labcar to ensure successful build of each vehicle Leading resolution for vehicle level infotainment issues Raising rework instruction plans (RISs) Grade reuse creation and signoff Representing IVI-HW in Customer Clinics Creating and resolving IVI-HW related AIMs for the whole platform Ensure infotainment and related components can be packaged into the supported car lines Provide input into vehicle line BOM validation Responsible for creating Wiring definition for Infotainment components, in conjunction with System Engineers Organising parts for prototype builds ( creating prototype orders , working with purchasing and production).

2 KEY SKILLS:

1.) Recognised qualification in Electronics or a related subject
2.) Must be able to present and manipulate data in Excel

Experience Required:

Recognised qualification in Electronics or a related subject Experience in using CAD packages for analysis of mechanical fit and fixtures Ability to deliver in a high pressure environment Very good organisational skills Must be able to present and manipulate data in Excel Committed to transforming & growing within the infotainment dept Knowledge of CAN based Vehicle infotainment systems , HW and SW interfaces.

Experience Preferred:

Experience in an Automotive environment working on CAD Use of test and debug tools for CAN based system ( CANalyser canoe etc) Recognised qualification in Mechanics & CAD design.

Additional Information:

Based in Gaydon with regular travel to other JLR sites Castle Brom, Solihull, Halewood
