The Role:
CONTRACT - 40 weeks

- Lead Electrical Engineer will Develop & deliver consistent and efficient electrical components for accessory products. Making sure they are on time to cost, weight and PSW targets.
- Management and coordination of engineering deliverables within the platform
- Drive the delivery of timely engineering solutions to programme requirements as per Gateway deliverables process Drive and deliver GRADE process and EDS harness design
- Lead the resolution of technical conflicts Geometry Creation.

Skills Required:
experience in automotive electrical systems Proven Project management capability ¿ demonstrated by recent delivery on time & budget. Excellent communications skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels

Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Proven years experience of GRADE process and EDS Harness design
- Has proven years experience of electrical and electronic component delivery
- Previous experience of EMC and CAN Bus / Networking"

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Electrical or electronic qualification
- Experience of WERs releasing and PSW Engineering knowledge of mechanical design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements.
- CAD Literacy
- Ability to manipulate and interrogate CAD data and use associated visualisation tools.
- Significant experience in use of engineering tools
- FMEA, Six Sigma, problem resolution etc.
- Any person supplied should have a valid UK driving licence and meet the medical requirements of the clients facilities
- Working knowledge of project delivery processes Working knowledge of change management processes"
