The Role:
Support the definition of Customer Requirements for new technologies. Analysing customer feedback through external/internal data from a variety of source including JD Power APEAL, Customer Surveys / Clinics and Competitor Benchmarking. Drive and support best practice and process improvements within Product Development and Research. Perform customer vehicle assessments to act as the independent view in order to influence new programmes. Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested from time to time

3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:
1)Previous experience within a Product Development department
2)Previous experience of leading the resolution of business, technical and process issues within a project team environment.
3)Engineering degree (or equivalent experience)

Experience Required: Previous experience managing requirements. Previous experience within Marketing or Research departments. Good working knowledge of Product Delivery System (or similar process). Passion for automotive industry and new technologies. Comfortable challenging with strong influencing and engagement skills: able to challenge existing thinking in a positive way whilst building credibility and trust through experience and personal style. A dynamic and determined individual, highly driven, committed and results-orientated with significant pace, energy and confidence. Able to combine a short term, pragmatic focus with strategic vision

Experience Preferred: Strong project management experience. Good written and verbal communication skills. Confident to report to all levels within the organisation. Proactive team player, happy to be hands on and build cross-functional relationships

Additional Information : The department: Quality Engineering QVoC is a key driver of Voice of the Customer and Quality into the creation of new features and technology projects. We ensure customer needs are identified and embed in the early definition of new technologies, in support of advanced programmes. Our main interfaces are Vehicle Engineering and Research, although the successful candidate will also have to engage with other areas such as Global Product Strategy, Global Customer Insight Team and Product Development
