Programme Planner (Special Vehicle Operations)

The Role:
Your role will be based within the Programme Management delivery team for Special Vehicle Operations, rolling out innovative, unique and luxurious packages and products within the client's products. This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody with Project Management or Programme Management skills in the Automotive industry to 'make your mark' within a very specialist division.

Suitable applicants for this role must be able to attend a Recruitment Day on the 16th October, where you will have the chance to meet key decision-makers in the company and have a same-day face to face interview.

Responsibilities:
- ensuring the team are on track and delivering within the specified requirements and timescales
- develop delivery plans
- working closely with other departments such as Design team and Marketing team

Skills Required:
- ability to analyse data and present conclusions using Excel and PowerPoint etc.
- knowledge of PCDS toolset including iPLM/Programme Central preferred
- some understanding of how economic, technological and political factors influence automotive OEM

Experience Required:
- programme management and/or strategic planning and with a good technical understanding of the whole vehicle.
- leading projects including financial content, have excellent written and verbal communication capabilities and be ready to collaborate with a broad set of stake-holders.
- an interest in and a demonstrable breadth of knowledge of the automotive industry, with an awareness of markets, brands and customer needs particularly those relevant to SVO

Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.
