The Role:
Position Description:
- Responsible for the achievement of Quality, Cost, Timing targets
- Self-reliant owner of the project metrics associated and manage / create metrics for: Issue Management (AIMS) Design Verification (eFDVS/RMDV) Releases (WERS / Bill of Material) Cost (Redbook, PACN) Timing / Module Plan (MS Project / Excel) Conformance Plans / Deviations (S-Dots)
- Escalate and communicate existing difficulties for arbitration and suggest solutions
- Compile and present major gateway status to Module Leader / Module Team
- Manage project cadence and ensure transparent communication and escalation through: developing and maintaining the Module Plan, planning and chairing effective Module Meetings, and monitoring tasks across the life cycle of the project
- Manage Module component costs, investment, vendor tooling, D&D, piece costs and weight
- Support Lead Engineers in inputting into Issue Management Process (AIMS)
- Respond to ad hoc requests for reports and information from the Vehicle Programme Leader
- Build relationships with all module, design, engine and vehicle team members
- Support the Module Leader in liaising with other functions (e.g., AME and purchasing) to ensure timely input from them

Skills Required:
3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED: 1)Degree qualified (Engineering or Business / Management related) 2)Previous experience within engineering or programme planning (2yrs+) 3)Track Record of leading a project / activity (work related or other)

- Being self-reliant, proactive and able to deliver with minimum supervision
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, self-confidence and a 'passion for the product'
- Ability to lead the resolution of business, technical and process issues within a Project Team environment
- A good understanding of Project Delivery Systems (Gateways, Milestones etc.), Change Control, Product Definition and Change Management processes

Experience Preferred:
- Experience working in an engineering and programme planning environment within the automotive industry - Experience with Module Management
