The Role:
LOCATION: Whitley (mainly) and Gaydon

The PSTI department functions across all hardware disciplines within Powertrain. You will be called upon to operate in an exciting high pressure environment, assisting in the resolution of major cross commodity internal Powertrain issues. This will include but not be limited to Base Engine integration with Transmissions, Exhaust, Cooling, Fuels & Air Intake systems in addition to the various Hybrid sub system hardware of both Electrification and Propulsion systems. The PiL Technical Support role is responsible for maintaining the PSTI metrics (AIMS, DPA, SALT, Exalead) up to date, publishing the PSTI metrics (SALT, Exalead) on a weekly basis, creating the agenda of the technical reviews chaired by the PiL, circulating the notes of the technical review chaired by the PiL. He will represent the PiL in case of clashes between several reviews.

3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:
1)Previous experience within engineering
2)Programme target management / delivery / reporting
3)Ability to deliver with minimum supervision

Experience Required: A minimum of 3 years experience in Automotive Engineering. Preferably degree qualified but not essential. Candidate must be enthusiastic, with a positive approach with the ability to proactively communicate within and outside of the department and operating in an environment where the goal is to break the status quo, challenge convention whilst remaining focussed on a feasible solution. SPrior knowledge of AIMS, Quality History Process along with good presentations skills be a distinct advantage.
