The Role:
Position Description:

Technical guidance and support of Engineers within the fuels core team for best practise design and recommendations for Urea (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) Hardware Components. Liase with current and new suppliers to understand latest technological developments. Collaborate with the CAE Teams to develop further CAE predictive tools. Champion the generation of new design standards and updated quality tools for deployment within the core engineering team. Lead the deployment of new technology hardware, including liasing with the supplier base to ensure a flawless PSW. Conduct competitor benchmarking of similar components to capture new learning and further best practise design. Work closely with the research team, providing technical support and guidance for Urea (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) Hardware related components.

Experience Required:

Degree in Automotive or Engineering related subject. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Some knowledge of Fuel or Urea Hardware (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) Systems for Automotive Vehicles. Design and delivery Experience within the Automotive environment.

Experience Preferred:

Ability to analyse and break down complex problems in order to develop technical solutions/recommendations. Plastic Injection Moulding and Welding Knowledge. Problem Solving Tools (eg 6 sigma). Knowledge of PCS / GPDS Timing.
