The Role:
Position Description:

TRANSCEND is a new Advanced Propulsion Centre funded program, to develop a new hybrid transmission specification, from concept to series production equivalent design release. Work with TRANSCEND Core Team, key collaborative and sub-contract partners to deliver the following; Budget management and reporting, cost detail tracking, budget forecasts, economic monitoring and tracking, project change requests and collaborative partner communications and coordination. Organisation and control of the Steering Committee to direct and align project work packages. Organise and control the preparations for quarterly program reviews with external stakeholders, collating all partners reports to support. Governance and management of the master timing plan for the total program. Preparation and presentation of project level reports (presentations) to internal Jaguar Land Rover stakeholders at agreed cadence - from weekly to monthly.

3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:

1.) Extensive knowledge of matched funded projects and engagement with multiple partners and stakeholders.

2.) Excellent project knowledge for delivery of hybrid transmission systems, covering key systems, sub-systems and their integration.

3.) Strong program management skills to ensure continue alignment between collaborative partners, within agreed timescales.

Experience Required:

Self-motivated and adaptable to changing demands. Experience of transmission integration, installation and hybrid system delivery. Expertise in matched funding project environment and development planning, to ensure deliverable objectives are tracked and recorded adequately. Demonstrable experience of planning and delivering program control requirements and metrics from concept to series production sign off. Demonstrable experience and working knowledge of hybrid solutions and planned integration with core Powertrain and/or vehicle systems.

Experience Preferred:

Experience of operating in a multi-party collaborative program environment. Experience of communication and liaison with funding agencies and program monitoring officers. Knowledge of program gateway and milestone planning, with detailed understanding of staged deliverable objectives to ensure these are successfully completed.
