The Role:
Position Description:

Department: Powertrain Engineering is one of the five Engineering Centres of Competence within Product Development. The eDriveline team is rapidly expanding to deliver the vehicle electrification plan. There is a need for a Lead Programme Timing Control Engineer for Electrical Drive Units programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

Creation and monitoring of the project timing plan are the key responsibilities. As a Planner, you'll coordinate project activities with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will support programme meetings (Programme Steering Team, build meeting, CMM) and lead the weekly commodity plan review meeting. You will track commodity delivery through the CCDS process.

3 key skills required:

1. Engineering background would be a significant benefit

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High level of computer literacy esp MS Office (Excel and Powerpoint). High levels of drive, personal organisation, flexibility and ability to work under pressure are essential. Able to deliver with minimum supervision. Cross functional communication experience at different levels.

3. Planning major commodity experience. Proven track record of delivering projects to time/cost/quality.

Experience Required:

Background in Programme Management of complex and multiple projects in an engineering environment or background in powertrain automotive component/system delivery.

Experience Preferred:

Degree in Engineering or Business Management subject Knowledge of PCDS or similar system (Programme Commodity Delivery System)
