The Role:
PTSE component hardware quality engineer:

a) Root cause investigation/diagnosis into quality reported issues affecting PTSE components. (Fuel system, Exhaust Systems, Cooling Systems and/or Air Intake Systems) b) Identify next up concerns through the use of JLR's AWS system looking for patterns and trends cross car line. c) Documentation of problem definition and level 1 analysis. d) Work with core team Engineers to define timings against potential solutions.

3 key skills required:

1. Good analytical skills with a strong emphasis on 6 sigma quality tools.

2. Good project management skills, Ability to influence people An ability to deal with multiple complex problems.

3. Strong technical knowledge against at least one of the following disciplines: Cooling systems, Fuel Systems, Exhaust Systems or Air Intake Systems

Experience Required:

Ability to plan, diagnose & manage the quality reported concerns affecting our customers. Good problem solving techniques and skills, including experience of fault finding/system de-bugging. Good communication and presentation skills, good PC/IT skills, flexible, committed, self-starter & a strong team worker. A valid UK driving licence (max 6 points)

Experience Preferred:

Understanding of JLR's AWS system Black belt/Green belt certified Understanding of Excel Pivot tables.
