The Role:
Position Description:

Lead the project management activities to successfully specify, engineer and deliver commodities into an architecture or programme. Responsible for; tracking project status versus plan, managing cost, weight and quality of the module and ensuring component compatibility with programme timing. Accountable for execution of all process activities to the programme at all relevant gateways.

3 key skills required:

1. High level of computer literacy - MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Project) with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

2. Understand Engineering Product Lifecycle (Specification, design, development & manufacture) and previous experience of leading the resolution of business, technical and process issues.

3. Awareness of our project delivery processes and tools such as PCDS, CCDS, RMDV, AIMS, WERS and Programme Central.

Experience Required:

Background in Programme Management of complex and multiple projects in an engineering environment or background in powertrain automotive component / system delivery with aspiration to develop into a programme management role. A good working knowledge of product creation & delivery, change control, product definition and change management processes. Previous experience within tier 1 or OEM Degree in Engineering or Business Management subject.

Experience Preferred:

Engineering background in powertrain, hybrid and electrification would be a significant benefit. Project management qualification ( APMP, Prince2, MSP).
