The Role:
Position Description:
PVT Project Engineer

Skills Required:
1.) Ideally Degree level qualification in an Engineering discipline preferred or working towards one
2.) Ability to create a climate in which respect, trust and mutual support are an integral part of working together
3.) Good communication skills & networking with PD functions, suppliers, plant & PVT is essential

The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
You will need to have a proven track record of interfacing with Manufacturing and Engineering on quality issues. Ability to anticipate future challenges and opportunities. A resilient character and a strong desire to deliver against targets under pressure with minimal supervision. To be flexible and supportive of colleagues. Experience in a mass production engineering environment (Automotive preferred). Familiar with 8D & DMAICR process, data analysis and/ or statistical techniques, preferably six-sigma Green Belt trained. High level of IT literacy

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of manufacturing plant processes (Desirable). Previous experience of vehicle launch or PVT (Desirable). Knowledge of JLR quality data systems, including AWS, PAWS, CQI and JD Powers.. Knowledge of systems such as WERS, AIMS,
