The Role:
Chassis SST (Suspension Systems Tuning) department is part of Chassis Product Development and responsible for delivery of Struts, Dampers, Spring Systems, Air Suspension and Antiroll systems.

This Role is for a Quality engineer. The successful applicant will be engaged as a Suspension Systems Tuning - chassis quality engineer, and be responsible for lead specific quality and warranty projects. Challenging technical issues from the field with the support of the internal Technical Specialists and several other departments.

Key Responsibilities: Managing Quality concerns related to design, specification and processes using problem solving and 6 sigma tools and methods. The quality engineer will carry out complex technical investigations and deploy countermeasure actions that reduce warranty cost and improve customer satisfaction. Take hands on approach to locally re producing concerns and analysing defective parts. Responsible for leading Quick service Fixes (QSFs) and White Alerts (Safety related issues) Managing projects with multi-functional teams (Factory, Service, Purchasing and Design) Reporting problem status and future activities to senior managers as required. The role might require to travel overseas to the relevant markets. (Very occasionally) Develop and maintain a strong team with the suppliers quality and engineering teams as required"

3 Key Skills:
1) Strong analytical and problem solving skills and methods
2) Strong mechatronics knowledge
3) Good communication skills

Experience Required: "Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a quality role. Engineering Degree, Mechanical or Automotive. Green belt trained minimum."

Experience Preferred: "Knowledge of Chassis suspension systems and components. Knowledge of manufacturing processes"
