As a requirements manager you are responsible for the quality, the management, configuration and version control of system requirements across a range of large projects. The requirements manager has a central role in the project to ensure requirements are captured in the appropriate tools and as requested exchanged with partners and suppliers in an extended enterprise. This position includes the following tasks: * Requirements Management using IBM Rational DOORS * Configuration Management of Requirements * Change Management of Requirements as part of a Change Management board with the Chief Engineer * Maintenance of traceability across requirements * Development of DXL scripts to automate tasks * Generation and communication of metric of the requirements health and status"
3 KEY SKILLS
Good relevant experience of working in a Systems Engineering environment - ideally within the Automotive Sector
Requirements Engineering and Management (RM)
Experience in IBM Rational DOORS / IBM Rational Team Concert
Experience Required: "* Ideally degree qualified or equivalent * Good verbal and written communications * Analytical and problem solving skills * Track record as an effective team player with strong interpersonal skills * Relevant experience of system definition, system architecture development, requirements capture, design/performance modelling, systems integration, system assessment and acceptance"
Experience Preferred: "* Project management skills * Experience in Embedded Systems and Systems of Systems development * Preference for 5 years of relevant experience."
Additional Information : Potential for work to be located within Warwickshire, at our Gaydon, and occasional travel to our Whitley and Warwick University sites.
