The Role:
"Site development/ Manufacturing site assessment. Improve quality systems and drive continuous improvement review of DFMEA and lead review of PFMEA and control plans / APQP activities. Phased production part approval process. Launch support (high impact suppliers) 8-D concern resolution. Warranty reduction. Schedule and conduct field action/stop shipment reviews in cases of supplier responsible concerns. This role involves significant travel, and there may be occasions where you are required to work unsociable hours"

Key Skills:
1) APQP / Phase PPAP experience
2) Problem solving skills - 6 Sigma Green belt / 8D's 3) Ability to travel in Europe

Experience Required: Knowledge and experience of APQP/PPAP/8D. Able to facilitate resolution of complex cross-functional issues. Good leadership/negotiation/communication & interpersonal skills. Able to operate effectively at all levels of the organisation. Self-motivated & able to work on their own initiative. Computer literate - Full UK driving Licence "

Experience Preferred: Interior Trim Background - candidate is known to STA from previous roles and experience would suit the role.

Additional Information : END DATE = 31/01/2018

Position will aid the management of 3 x JIT supplier moves into new facilities - requires person with experience of both supplier management and commodity to ensure the site transfers adhere to the plan to ensure no risk to requirements (delivery and quality). Candidate is known to STA management team and high confidence that he can fulfill the role required.
