The Role:
Position Description:
The Perceived Quality & Engineering Excellence (PQ & EE) department needs a skilled technical analyst to support the department by producing regular metrics and presentation material, addressing issues with the complex minutes and metrics used to manage the Optical Quality process. The role will require high skill levels of in excel, databases, and the candidate will be able to analyse, stream line and automate the current working practices

3 Key Skills Required:
1, Excellent communication, interpersonal skills.
2, Applicants would ideally need to be qualified to degree level and be computer literate, with excellent capability in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint & Word as a minimum requirement.
3, Very good understanding of Visual Basic for Application with ability to write / de-bug complex macros. Knowledge of SharePoint. Knowledge of HTML and CSS.

Experience Required:
Optical Quality minutes maintenance and support (in particular addressing issues associated with VBA macros and Excel formulas across a complex range of files and worksheets).
Issuing weekly Optical Quality status reports.
Material Data Base management using Access.
Updating & maintaining the Perceived Quality (PQ) Panel Chart(s).
Standardising Programme presentation format for Seniors report out.
Developing and maintaining department Visual Factory with Key performance indicators / metrics updated.
Developing process improvement for metrics / reports management.
Updating, maintaining & improving the department website / SharePoint site.
Maintaining resource planning data for department.
Developing tool to improve productivity for reporting activities.

Experience Preferred:
Maintaining resource planning data for department.

Flexibility to support demanding project workloads.
Excellent communicator.
Strong interpersonal skills.
An individual who is results driven with the ability to deliver in a highly demanding environment.

Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.
